Resultados da metodologia do IFAD voltada para gênero: Sharing and learning event on empowerment through household methodologies: results from the use of the Gender Action Learning System in IFAD-supported projects

IFAD and Oxfam Novib are jointly organizing a sharing and learning event on empowerment through household methodologies for IFAD Staff, experts and partner organizations, with a special focus on Gender Action Learning System (GALS).  

The Event will offer a great opportunity to:

- Increase awareness and understanding among IFAD staff and partners on the importance of introducing gender transformative approaches, in particular GALS, in rural development projects and programmes;

- Share results, lessons learned and recommendations from the collaboration between Oxfam Novib and IFAD so far in integrating the GALS in IFAD-supported projects;

- Discuss the way forward and pathways for bringing this approach to scale in the near future.

The Event will gather experts and champions in household methodologies, including from IFAD supported projects in ESA and WCA, NGOs, UN agencies and others. Participants will discuss how these approaches have been used in value chain development, rural finance and extension services. This will be followed by two webinar sessions (in English and French).
